Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Ruinkeep ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Ruinkeep mobile application (the "App") or this website (together, the "Service").

Information we collect

• Account information: email address (for authentication) and a chosen empire name. We do not require real names.
• Gameplay data: your empire's state, actions, and communications with other players — necessary to provide the game.
• Device identifiers: a device token used to deliver push notifications you opt into. This token is not tied to your real identity.
• Aggregate analytics: anonymous, cookieless page-view data collected via a self-hosted analytics system. We do not track individuals.
• Crash reports: we collect diagnostic data when the App crashes, via Sentry. These reports do not include personally identifying content.

How we use information

• To operate the game — render your empire, process your actions, deliver messages.
• To send you push notifications you have opted into.
• To detect and respond to cheating, abuse, or violations of our Terms.
• To improve the game — understanding, at an aggregate level, which features are used.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not share your data with advertisers.
• We do not embed third-party tracking pixels.

Your choices

• Delete your account. Available in-app under Settings → Account. Deletion removes your account and associated empire data within 30 days.
• Push notifications. Disable in your device settings or per-category in-app.
• Access / export. Email hello@ruinkeep.com to request a copy of your data.

Children

Ruinkeep is rated 12+. The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We will update this policy as needed. Material changes will be announced in-app and in the devlog.
